Nicole Ibe, PMHNP-BC, APN

Founder, Lead Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Nicole Ibe is a devoted nurse practitioner, dual board-certified in primary care and psychiatry, who brings years of experience to Clarity Behavioral Health. With a primary focus on addressing complex mental health needs, she specializes in conditions such as depression, bipolar disorders, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, schizophrenia, and more.

Nicole is a firm believer in our patient-centered approach to care, valuing each individual's unique journey towards mental wellness. Leveraging her comprehensive medical and mental health expertise, she delivers whole-person-centered care in line with our goal of breaking down barriers to care, promoting mental wellness, and empowering individuals to lead fulfilling lives based on their individual needs.

Rachene Alexander, PMHNP-BC, AGNP

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Rachene Alexander, NP, is an empathetic and board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Adult Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Regis College, where she cultivated her deep understanding of mental health. With experience treating both adolescents and adults with a range of mental health disorders, Rachene approaches every individual with compassion and sensitivity. She is dedicated to providing the emotional support they need throughout their treatment journey.

Rachene's heartfelt mission is to help individuals navigate their mental health challenges, empowering them to lead productive, fulfilling, and comforting lives. She understands many people's struggles and is here to support them every step of the way.

Bret Kirson, LCSW

Clinical Supervisor

Bret Kirson is a dedicated and compassionate licensed clinical social worker with two decades of experience in the field. Since 2010, Bret has been providing expert clinical services, and he is also a certified clinical supervisor. His extensive experience includes working in diverse settings such as treatment foster care, correctional facilities, inpatient psychiatric care, community-based mental health programs, and Office-Based Addiction Treatment (OBAT) centers.

Bret is committed to a harm reduction, strength-based, and solution-focused approach in his practice, offering tailored support to couples, individuals, and families. His dedication to empowering these populations by embracing positive change is at the core of his therapeutic philosophy.

Patricia Cottrell, LPC, MAHS

Mental Health Therapist

Patricia brings Clarity years of experience in diverse settings including outpatient, intensive outpatient, and schools. She has also had extensive experience across all age groups shaping her understanding of the potential complexities of each person's health and wellness journey.

Patricia's approach to therapy is energetic, affirming, and holistic. She understands that mental health does not exist in a vacuum and is often influenced by your environment, physical health, relationships, and many other key aspects of life. Patricia's goal is to work with you to understand your specific circumstances and treatment goals and ensure you stay informed and aligned every step of the way.

Serena Helwani, MSW, LSW

Mental Health Therapist

Serena is a Licensed Social Worker in the state of New Jersey who offers a warm, empathetic, and person-centered approach to therapy. Her practice is rooted in humanistic values, emphasizing acceptance, collaboration, and a deep respect for each individual’s unique experience. She believes that healing begins when people feel truly seen, heard, and understood.

 

Serena earned her Master’s degree in Social Work and received specialized training in working with minority populations, including the Deaf and Hard of Hearing communities.

 

She works with clients of all ages - working to navigate life transitions, managing stress, processing trauma, or simply seeking greater self-awareness and personal growth. She welcomes individuals from all backgrounds and identities and is dedicated to helping each client build on their strengths and move toward meaningful change.

Verona Sealey, LAMFT

Mental Health Therapist

Verona Sealey, LAMFT, is a compassionate therapist with a non-judgmental, collaborative approach. She helps clients navigate relationship challenges, anxiety, communication issues, and major life transitions. For those seeking faith-based counseling, Verona thoughtfully integrates Christian values and principles, creating space for both emotional and spiritual growth. Her goal is to empower clients with tools and insights that foster lasting healing and positive change.

Verona works with individuals, couples, and families who want to strengthen relationships, manage anxiety, or gain clarity during times of change. She is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and encouraged in their growth.

Our caring and responsive clinical administrative team plays a vital role in each client’s wellness journey by ensuring a welcoming experience, coordinating care seamlessly, and providing the support needed to help individuals access the help they deserve with ease and compassion.
